As part of the State Program for Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan, a project to produce polyethylene pipes with diameters of 20-1200 mm was implemented. In 2011-2012, polyethylene pipes were sold for over 2,200 million tenge. In 2013-2014, plans are underway to expand the production of polyethylene and pre-insulated pipes within the Astana-Zhana Kala SEZ in the Astana industrial park.
